Drew Barrymore, Judd Apatow & More Are RAVING About Courteney Cox’s Menopause!

Courteney Cox is getting real about getting older as a woman.

The “Friends” actor recently took a trip down memory lane and shared a commercial he starred in from the 1980s.

Cox looks like she’s straight out of Olivia Newton-John’s “Physical” music video in an ad for the feminine hygiene product, Tampax.

He captioned the video, “My commercial needs an update.”

“Does your life change once a month because of your period?” he asks in an 80s ad.

Then the video cuts to 2022 Cox.

“Has your life changed completely because of menopause?” Cox asked.

If you’re not familiar with menopause and what it is, let us know.

Menopause most often occurs in women between the ages of 45 and 55. It occurs sometime within 12 months after a woman’s last period or menstrual cycle. Women can experience hot flashes, sleep disturbances, decreased libido, weight gain, mood swings, dry hair or scalp hair loss, anxiety, dry skin, irritability, insomnia and MUCH MORE.

“Still using the pad?” Cox 80s continued.

“Still having a fever?” interrupted Cox 2022.

Cox Shares The Truth About Menopause!

Her blast from the past commercial goes on to explain how Tampax can make you change the way you feel about your period.

“Menopause can change the way you feel about getting older,” Cox said after banging her fist on the wall. “Menopause will eat you alive! It’s horrible. Nothing else can do it.”

“Plus you get the added bonus of dry skin and getting bald patches, now that’s something,” jokes the 58-year-old. “Remember, there is nothing good about menopause. It can actually change the way you feel about getting older.”

An updated version of his Tampax ad parody has sent the internet into hysterics. Many of his famous friends flooded the comments section of the video.

Academy Award winner Julianna Moore also joined in writing the action, “Ahahahahahahahaha.”

Cox isn’t the only celebrity to talk about menopause.

Last year, Salma Hayek (56) talked about her experience with menopause and how it made her breasts grow.

“Should grow up a lot,” Hayek said on Red Table Talk with Jada Pinkett Smith. “For some women they get smaller. But there are some women when you gain weight, your breasts get bigger, and other women when you have a child and you breastfeed your breasts get bigger and they don’t go back down, and then in some cases when you’re in menopause they grow back. And I happen to be one of those women where it happens every step of the way!”
