Many celebrities took to social media to pay tribute to late “The Price Is Right” host Bob Barker.

The beloved TV host died early Saturday morning at the age of 99. She is best known for signing off the show with her famous catchphrase “Help control the pet population, have your pets spayed or neutered,” and for her role in Adam Sandler’s “Happy Gilmore.”

The “50 First Dates” actor and Drew Carey, who took over the role of Bob on “The Price Is Right,” were among the first to pay tribute to the actor Saturday evening as tributes continued to pour in from famous fans and friends.

On Saturday evening, the former “Whose Line Is That?” host took to Twitter (now known as X), to pay tribute to the late host, reminding fans that not a day went by without Bob Barker’s presence being felt on the set of “The Price Is Right.”

“A very sad day for the Price Is Right family, and animal lovers around the world. There isn’t a day on set that I don’t think of Bob Barker and thank him. I will carry his memory in my heart forever. #RIPBobBarker.” she tweeted, adding, “We love you” along with a red heart emoji.

“How sad. He seems like a great guy. My mom and I would watch it on The Price is Right. He loves animals so much. May he rest in peace and Drew continue his legacy. I love you, Drew. Keep up the good work,” commented one fan. “So sad to hear of Bob Barker’s passing. Some of the earliest and best memories of my life are watching TPIR with my mom. Bob is a game show icon and daytime television legend. He will never be forgotten,” shared another follower.

The “Just Go With It” actress took to Instagram to pay her respects, recalling Bob’s sense of humor as one of her favorite things about the iconic game show host. “That man. Myth. The best. Sweet funny guy to hang out with. Love talking to him. Love to laugh with him. Loved him kicking my crap,” she wrote. “He will be missed by everyone I know! Heartbreaking day. Love to Bob always and his family! Thank you for everything you give us!”

Frequent Adam Sandler collaborator Rob Schneider also took to Twitter to offer his condolences. “One of the best things I ever heard in show business was Bob Barker saying, ‘I moved to Hollywood to be an actor and the only person who ever let me do it was Adam Sandler!’ Scenes with these guys are and always will be hilarious!” he tweeted. “God bless you, Bob.”

Actress Julie Bowen, who also starred in “Happy Gilmore,” also took to Instagram to pay her respects. “I’ll never forget Adam convincing Bob Barker to say the iconic line, ‘The price is WRONG, bi*ch!’ Bob is kind and polite and refuses to say it, but he gets caught up in a funny fight scene between him and Happy, he just…says it. American TV personality and game show host Tom Bergerson also reminded everyone how good Bob was. “At the weekend, when we were filming Hollywood Squares on the same stage where @therealpriceisright was filming on weekdays, I used his dressing room,” he said. “When he retired I interviewed him for @goodmorningamerica. When I asked him to read my book manuscript, he offered to write a blurb for it. Thanks a lot, Bob. Rest in peace.”
