“They let me go into the archives and pull out Gianni’s early prints,” shared the “Break My Heart” singer. “We can bring it [those] back a little, modernize [them] and created a fun summer collection that I’m really proud of.”
He continued, “It’s one of those rare occasions where I work with someone, and it’s exactly how you imagine it.” In himself Dazed interview, Lipa also discussed the dynamics of her working relationship with Versace and how their relationship developed.
“We text a lot, and he has incredible input. I’ll put metal buckles on some clothes, and he’s like, ‘Maybe we should make the buckle pink to modernize it differently,'” she shares. “We have a language that same; we can only bounce ideas off each other.”
Lipa added, “She wants you to feel great — and she wants you to be heard.”

Ahead of the launch of La Vacanza, Lipa made a splash at the Cannes Film Festival on Sunday when she stepped out with her new boyfriend, acclaimed French-Greek director and screenwriter Romain Gavras.
The pair, who recently confirmed their relationship, were seen making out together as the singer wrapped his arm around them as they walked.
Dua Lipa, known for her sultry voice and infectious hits, looked casually stunning in a pair of oversized blue denim jeans, which she paired with a black tank top. Beside him stood Gavras, who looked dapper in a half-open blue shirt and matching pair of shorts.
