“Duke of Hazzard” actor John Schneider claims he never made a death threat against the president of the United States, Joe Biden.
In a recent statement on the matter amid severe backlash for his tweets, Schneider appeared to backtrack by saying he was not “calling for acts of violence” or threatening Biden as others have in the past.

Amid an alleged investigation into him by the Secret Service, actor Schneider has clarified his comments about President Biden being “suspended” for alleged “treason.”
He said, “Seriously, dude? This is my last comment on this matter. I didn’t say or imply any of that. Despite the headlines claiming otherwise, in my posts I in no way called for acts of terrorism or threatened the US president like which many other celebrities have done in the past. I suggest you re-read my actual post and pay attention to the words before believing this nonsense.”
“It is my position, which I am entitled to have, that some of our nation’s leaders in Washington have lost their way, and corruption is rampant, both at our nation’s borders and abroad. Transparency and accountability must prevail if our constitutional republic is to survive. There is no implied threat or otherwise in the statement,” the actor concluded his statement.
The Secret Service is apparently investigating the matter, saying, “The Secret Service is aware of the comments made by Mr. Schneider, and as a practice, we do not comment on matters involving protected intelligence. However, we can say that the Secret Service investigates all threats related to our protection.”

Shortly after he unmasked on the popular singing competition, “The Masked Singer,” Schneider took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to make a shocking statement to President Biden.
Biden has tweeted condemning former President Donald Trump amid his recent ban from the Colorado state presidential ballot.

“Trump poses many threats to our country. The right to choose, civil rights, voting rights, and America’s standing in the world,” said Biden, adding, “But the biggest threat it poses is to our democracy. If we lose that, we lose everything.”
Contrary to what the president tweeted, Schneider responded, “Mr. President, I believe you are guilty of treason and should be publicly hanged,” he said. “Your son too. Your answer is…?” He then signed the post with his name, “John Schneider.”
It didn’t take long before the Hollywood actor deleted the tweet. He has faced intense scrutiny since then, with some netizens calling for his arrest.
