Dwayne Johnson’s first daughter, Simone, born from her marriage to professional IFBB bodybuilder Danny Garcia, made her World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. debut.

During the launch, Simone stood in the background with a yellow smiley face mask, and a red hoodie as the other wrestlers of the group were announced. Finally, he is revealed, prompting the audience to cheer in surprise and delight as he pledges his allegiance to his team. The WWE star said:
“The love and acceptance that Schism gave me defied any preconceived notions of who I should be. This family completes me.”
As the first fourth-generation wrestler in WWE history, Simone follows her father, Dwayne, her grandfather, “Soul Man” Rocky Johnson, and her grandfather, “The High Chief” Prince Peter Maivia.
Also, she won’t be the first woman in her family to be involved in the sport, as her great-grandmother, Lia Maivia, was one of the first women’s wrestling promoters. The Rock’s daughter started her career in 2020, but before making her debut, she suffered a knee injury that required surgery.
And in July, while announcing his wrestling name, he addressed those on social media who questioned his loyalty to his wrestling lineage, based on his ring name. He stated:
“I may sound like a broken record & hopefully this is the last time I’ll mention this, but I don’t understand why people being described as individuals separate from their surname is such a hot topic.”
Simone believes the name does not “tarnish any previous achievements of any family.” In another statement, he insisted that he could build his career around his father, but people would still criticize him. Even with critics hating on the budding WWE champion, his dad was still very proud of him for walking in his footsteps and blazing “his own path.”
During the premiere of “DC League of Super Pets” in July, the former pro wrestler opened up about his daughter’s career, showing he has no qualms about her success. Despite believing her baby girl is “very independent,” she mentioned that it’s important for her to “make her own way, blaze her own trail, and blaze her own path.” He added:
“He didn’t come to me looking for a lot of things that I respect. And I’m here watching and supporting.”
