In what has been described as an “amicable” split, Slater has officially filed to legally dissolve his union with Farber. Court documents obtained by Explosion reads, “Petitioner & Respondent intend to amicably resolve all property issues in the subsequent Stipulated Judgment of Dissolution of Marriage. The petitioner reserves the right to amend if necessary.”
Slater asked the court to dissolve his marriage and also end the possibility of spousal support. The marriage of both was not blessed with children so there was no demand or fight about child support.
Based on the facts presented, the couple’s divorce will be finalized in a short time because there is not much to argue in court. The duo, who have been married for almost five years, also have no intention of getting back together.

Slater and her soon-to-be ex-husband Farber were married in a beautiful wedding ceremony in March, 2018. The two said their vows in front of friends and loved ones and “Dancing With The Stars” alums.
The former couple got engaged during a live taping of their popular ABC dance show in October 2016, after dating on and off for a while. The news of their union made fans of the show very happy because of what seemed to be great chemistry between the two dancers during the show.
A day after their wedding, Slater took to Instagram to share a photo of them wearing beautiful wedding dresses.
Slater captioned the post, “We are so excited to wake up this morning as Mr. & Mrs. Farber! I am so overwhelmed right now, I know I will share more photos but for now I just want to thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts for all your kind and beautiful messages of love.”

Farber and Slater’s split was announced last year. The news of their split came as a shock to fans who had been rooting for the couple after their live engagement and cute time together on “DWTS.”
When asked how she was doing after breaking up with Farber, Slater said: Additional“I think it’s been a challenging year for a lot of people… For me, I’ve just surrounded myself with a lot of friends and just trying to step up and do the best I can, and I really think that’s the same for almost everyone. .”

In the comments section, Farber’s friends responded to the funny image with laughing emojis, while some commented that she could “cook,” “clean,” and “take out the trash.”
Fellow “DWTS” pro Jenna Johnson joked, “And she brought muffins too!!!” while “Bachelor” star Gabby Windey said, “Absolutely!”
Neither Farber nor Slater have been linked to anyone since their split.
