Peta Murgatroyd & Maksim Chmerkovskiy, the newest parents in town, introduced their bouncing baby boy to the world, and fans are going crazy.
So far, the “Dancing With the Stars” pros— and parents to 6-year-old Shai Aleksander— have embraced the joy of welcoming their second child into their lives just in time for Father’s Day. The couple are set to reveal their son, who was born on Sunday, June 18, to the public by sharing his first name and photo.

Days after Murgatroyd and Chmerkovskiy’s second child entered their family on cue, the parents of two found the perfect name for him, and they can’t wait to share it.
On June 21, in a joint Instagram post, the new mother of two gushed over the caption, “?Rio John Chmerkovskiy?,” and shared that Rio weighed 8 pounds, 6 ounces at birth and was “thriving!”
Referring to the couple’s first son, she added, “We are so happy to share our baby boy with you all. @shai.aleksander has been the best brother ever, and we all feel complete[sad eyes emoji.] Life is good, XO.”

In the adorable photos that follow, the little one sleeps peacefully in a stylish brown outfit with a matching beanie and pacifier. He was laid next to a wooden fixture with his name on it. Immediately after posting, the lovebird’s fans and celebrities alike were thrilled with them, flooding her with the sweetest congratulatory comments.
Cynthia Bailey and Nikki Garcia responded with cute emojis. Chmerkovskiy’s sister-in-law, Jenna Johnson, said, “You are so loved, Rio!!! We have been waiting for you ? ?.” Jana Kramer replied, “OBSESSED. And I LOVE that name. I wouldn’t steal it, but damn, that’s cool! Hahaha. Very valuable.”

The Latin dance champion shared the first photo of the baby, with his face blurred. Accompanied by Etta James’ song, “At Last,” the post features her lovingly holding and staring at her son wrapped in a pastel blue blanket.
The doting father of two is wearing a white polo shirt while his black hair is flowing. In the caption of the upload, which came in celebration of Father’s Day, the Ukrainian-American wrote, “Happy Father’s Day to me! #MadeInMap.”

Then the “Faith, Hope & Love” actress revealed that she could barely walk or talk after she gave birth, prompting her to be rushed to the hospital.

Before giving birth to her son, the “Burn the Floor” star showed off her pregnancy glow in a series of adorable black and white photos on Instagram and used the time to cherish the precious moments she had with their son, Shai.
The 36-year-old shared a carousel of photos that exude her beauty and grace. The Broadway dancer, oozing confidence, posed in a long-sleeved black leotard and striking metallic knee-high boots. In it, her hair is styled in loose beachy waves and highlighted with small braids. Excited, Murgatroyd wrote in the caption:
“Soaked in these last few days with the little guy. Looking for every opportunity to be with Shai and spend as much one-on-one time with him as possible. Focusing on my inner thoughts and letting go of the negative ones. Realizing I have what I dreamed of ✨.”
