A 74-year-old woman was killed outside her Brooklyn townhouse when bricks fell from a building and fell on her, police said.
Dale Singer left a townhouse on Sixth Avenue near 54th Street in Sunset Park around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday, police said.

Police administered CPR, but eventually, the 74-year-old woman succumbed to her injuries. Citizen App
As she locked the door, a large chunk of concrete formwork came loose and fell on the elderly woman’s head, police said.
FDNY medics gave Singer CPR, and he was taken to Maimonides hospital in critical condition. He was later pronounced dead, authorities said.
The FDNY notified the Department of Buildings, which will now conduct its own investigation.
