The father of Actress and Scientist Elisabeth Moss, Ron Moss, has died at the age of 79. The news of his death was revealed by his grandson Max, who is also the executor of his estate.
Ron reportedly passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones. Like his daughter, Elisabeth, the professional musician is also a Scientologist and has a close relationship with the father of the organization’s leader, David Miscavige.

According to his grandson, Moss died in Clearwater, Florida on Thursday night. A statement by the family revealed that he died after a “short battle with infection.” The 79-year-old was surrounded by loved ones when he died.
Ron’s grandson’s statement read, “Ron made so many friends throughout his rich life and we want everyone to know that you all meant a lot to him. Thank you for everything you have done for him throughout his life.”
Ron was an accomplished trombone player who performed professionally all his life. The professional musician, who is a famous Scientologist, allegedly performed with Miscavige’s father, the leader of his church.
Ron managed several famous performers, including Isaac Hayes and Chick Corea. The latter is reportedly the godfather of his daughter, Elisabeth.
Although Ron was born and raised in Birmingham, England, he and his ex-wife, Linda, raised “The Handmaid’s Tale” star and his older brother Derek in the United States, specifically in Los Angeles.
The actor is yet to speak about his father’s death.
