Hollywood star Elizabeth Banks plans to age gracefully and has no plans to get Botox.
While chatting with Us Weekly, Banks revealed that her “extremely high” self-esteem is to thank for her decision to go natural. She stated, “I’m a natural beauty,” adding, “Nothing ever happens here, you can tell.”
“And that’s because my self-esteem is very high. I try and focus on my confidence and less on my looks,” continued Banks while promoting skincare brand No. 7.
According to “The Hunger Games” star, “hydration, more water, sleep, diet [and] exercise” is an important part of her skin care routine.

Banks told the publication, “I totally understand that [skincare] is what is inside the same as outside. For me, I find that when I don’t go out every day, when I don’t exercise, my mental health deteriorates.”
“When your mental health declines, so does your self-esteem. Suddenly, all my habits went out the window,” added the actress.
Banks who never got Botox is a huge success as it has become a craze in the entertainment industry, with actors, singers and influencers lining up to get regular injections to maintain a youthful appearance.

In an interview with People magazine earlier this year, the “Walk of Shame” star revealed that her “philosophy” is to “age gracefully”.
While talking about her skincare brand partnership, she said, “I’m trying to age gracefully, but I also want to feel confident that I’m doing what I can to stay confident about aging. My mental health is most important when it comes to beauty.”
He added, “We live in a society that loves and values youth and beauty. I understand. I like to see beautiful young people too. I like to remind people, you will never look as good as you do today, right now, because aging is a privilege. It’s better than the alternative, right? You want to grow old, trust me.”

The “Pitch Perfect” star revealed that she’s inspired by following women who are “spirited” and “excited to do something at every age.”
“I follow Sharon Stone and Jane Fonda on social media, and more women like that. I love seeing fit, active, confident, excited women doing fun things at every age. Mix up your algorithms,” says Banks. “Follow people of all ages. Make sure you’re getting a sense of reality when it comes to aging and not just looking at filtered Instagram photos.”

During an appearance on the “Armless Chair” Podcast, Banks talked about how happy she is with her natural beauty and said that she “happily” tells people that she never puts anything on her face.
“That’s something I’m happy to say to everybody like I don’t put anything in my face, I’ve never had a needle in my face … I’m really not interested in the psychology of starting to mess with my face,” Banks said.
He continued, “I would do it if I could look in the mirror happily and not have the emotional or psychological burden of doing it, but I just … I don’t want to do it, and I’m trying to hold back, and there’s a reason for that and I have to respect that.”

The actor later explained why he would not go under the knife, saying that it was a big risk and something went wrong during the process.
He also talked about his loved ones who had to undergo surgery for health reasons, saying that it was strange for him to put himself in such a situation voluntarily.
“And then I also have my friends and my sister who, like, have dealt with cancer and have had surgeries and stuff, and you’re like, why would I voluntarily put myself under the knife and like anesthesia and all that? It’s all very dangerous, I mean me,” Banks said at the time.
