The co-star is reportedly happy that Gray’s anatomy star Ellen Pompeo has left the series. He doesn’t seem to like it.
Ellen Pompeo Spent 14 Seasons On ‘Grey’s Anatomy’

The actress’ departure apparently came with praise from some of her co-stars who believed she was a bit annoying on set. After 14 seasons it’s easy to see how someone can be a little cocky on set, especially as the title character.
However, some believed that it was a bit excessive and were happy to see it go:
“He has a huge ego and always throws his weight around when it comes to other people’s performances and storylines…Some people call him a tyrant and they’re glad they won’t see him again,” a source claimed to Online Radar.
The Emmy winner should be doing her best and some of her co-stars are glad they no longer have to deal with her. “He became arrogant…That rubbed a lot of people the wrong way, from production assistants to his co-stars. Honestly, no one will miss it.”
Ellen Pompeo Goes To College

Pompeo announced last August that he was leaving the show and likened it to heading off to college:
“The show was amazing for me and I loved the experience. Look, it’s just, I gotta mix it up a little bit…I gotta do something new…I mean, 19 years, that’s more than people keep their kids in their house like people keep their kids in their house until they’re 18 and then they send them to college. So this is like me going to college…”
This was not an easy decision for Pompeo to make, he reportedly makes over half a million dollars per episode. At the time, that made him the highest-paid actor on TV.
Despite this, Pompeo decided to act and reportedly said that the role felt outdated to him now and that he was looking for a more challenging role.
Fans Are Happy to See Ellen Pompeo Split

Looking at the comments, it seems that some fans agree that it’s time for him to go but not for the reason you might think. “He lost my respect when he talked bad about Denzel Washington.”
“???? It’s time for SHOW to retire too….but no one will miss him for meeeeee ???,” joked a follower of the news.
“It has been known for at least 3 years now that he is not easy to work with. Not a surprise cast and crew ready to be done with it,” claimed another.
“Good luck getting a job with a famous rep. Be kind damn,” wrote a fan of the popular medical drama.
There’s certainly an air that not many people will miss Pompeo on set or on their TV screens. Pompeo might get a chance to redeem his rep and work on one of the more challenging projects after all this.
He has signed on to star in a miniseries adaptation of the film orphan about a young girl who is believed to have a dwarf who is adopted by a family and turns out to be an old woman who plays as a child.
