Elly Mangat was born in Doraha, Punjab. He is a graduate. Elly started her singing career in 2015 with the Punjabi song “Angry Bird.” Next, he released the song Game featuring Gangis Khan. Elly clashed with Gangis Khan after the song was released. After that, he released many Punjabi songs like “Jail,” “Hands,” “Weapons,” “Fudu Gallan,” “Death Line,” “Ak 47,” “Swag,” and “My Pets.”

- He gained controversy when Gangis Khan claimed that Elly had raped a 14-year-old girl in Brampton. Gangis made this statement through his Instagram story.
- Mangat also clashed with Punjabi singer, Mankirat Aulakh, for the song ‘Gangland.’
- Mangat was also criticized for using bad words for Yo Yo Honey Singh through his Snapchat account. He said, Honey doesn’t know how to sing, write, or do anything but still, she is famous among the audience but there are singers who sing so well and people don’t pay attention to them.
- Elly was also involved in a verbal war with Punjabi singer Singga. It all started when Singga referred to Elly as ‘Chotta’ and Elly replied that “You are not up to my level ( Meri latt varga vi hai nahi ).” The war did not stop here, the two of them continued to exchange taunts for a long time.
- In 2019, Elly Mangat got into a verbal war with Punjabi singer Ramandeep Singh Randhawa alias Rammi Randhawa after Rammi and his brother Putera mocked him for singing songs that appeal to alcohol and guns. The feud that started on social media soon resulted in threatening each other to come to a certain location for a real fight. When Elly flew to Mohali, India from Canada for the fight, she was remanded in Police Custody for two days and then sent to judicial custody for 14 days.
