The model has not shared any details about her divorce from Sebastian Bear-McClard but has hinted several times that she is very happy being a divorced woman. On the latest episode of her podcast “High Low with EmRata,” which dropped today, she shared with guest Tommy Dorfman, her thoughts on divorce and how it made her a better person in some ways.
She told Dorfman during a conversation about dating and breakups that she doesn’t feel ashamed about getting divorced because she knows a lot of people who have called her out of a relationship for various reasons.
He does not consider divorce a “sad thing.” He continued, “I know a lot of people are not happily married for a long time because they’re so afraid of divorce. I don’t think that’s a good way to live.”

The actress also shared that she is having this new positive talk about divorce. “Every time I hear a divorce story or when I see the news, I have to remind myself, ‘Oh that’s sad.’ I literally say to people, ‘Good for you.’
EmRata is not always happy when she talks about her divorce. In October, she was on the front page Harpers Bazaar, and in a cover story interview, she admitted she was “feeling all the emotions” after people accused her of being too happy on social media.
Emily went on to explain, “Every day is different. The only good thing I know is that I feel all of those things. … It made me believe that I was going to be okay.”

She has been seen around New York City on dates with several people. Pete Davidson was one and the DJ got a chance on a few dates too. Emily is living it up as she should at 31 and single. But her willingness to date just rubs people the wrong way.
She said, “other guys I’ve dated see it, and it’s kind of hard … it sucks,” she eventually felt “forced” to apologize for casually dating.
