Emily Ratajkowski and Julia Fox have known each other for a while and have a few things in common, including being New Yorkers and single mothers of sons.
They also appear to be supporting the famous Amber Heard following the defamation trial between the actress and her ex-husband, Johnny Depp. And now, while discussing the challenges of being a woman on Emrata’s “High Low” podcast, they touched on the injustice of abused women not being heard while defending their decision to support Heard.

Fox may not directly hate men, but he admits to Emrata that he hates the “patriarchy” and its influence on the male population. Speaking about their similar experiences as single mothers raising children, the Italian-American actress offered advice on how to raise sons without them becoming “city kids” and entitled.
Another part of their conversation focused on Fox’s past as a “dominatrix,” where she opened up about the damage done to her as a young adult using her body to be strong. Her support for Heard was evidently due to her experience as an abused woman, which Emrata believed to be “extraordinary.”
The woman’s health advocate also noted that social media users were “so angry” that they came for her after making a “little comment” about the situation. Fox talked about the TikTok “movement” that formed in relation to Heard and Depp after people read all of the released documents.
She added that if it could happen to someone like Heard, whom she described as a “white, blonde, beautiful, successful actress,” no woman is safe, because it could happen to any woman.

The “Uncut Gems” actress felt “compelled” to say something, adding that social media commentators didn’t understand the extent of their actions. He said, “[They] not realizing this is going to ruin women, the whole human race, all the women in the world are going to experience this.”
Emrata declined, saying that it was already “very scary” to come out as a woman and discuss their experiences to which Fox agreed. He explained:
“Abuse is very dangerous, and sometimes you don’t know you’re being abused, and sometimes you’re being abused, but you don’t want to see yourself as a victim, so you try to be tough and fight back, so it can be like “we’re fighting each other each other.”
The February-born model admitted that she always stands up for abused women because she has been in that situation and realizes how lonely it is. Knowing how terrifying such an experience can be, he notes that victims are put in situations where people they’ve known all their lives believe they’re frauds when they’re not.
The “Gone Girl” actress then pointed out how people turned Heard into “this hysterical character,” which Fox confirmed, calling her “f**ked up.”

After Emrata’s divorce from her ex-husband, Sebastian Bear-McKard, she quickly moved on with her life as she embraced being a single mother to her only son, Sylvester Apollo. The Blast reports that he also spoke candidly to Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager on the “Today” show about his life since the breakup.
The “iCarly” star is feeling “really good” about being single for the first time in her life as she insists she doesn’t owe anyone anything but her kids and is just focused on doing “her own thing.”
She also talked about being a serial monogamist before ending her marriage, which she believes was her way of protecting herself while working in a “really crazy industry” with a lot of “predatory, scary men.”
Almost a month before Emrata discussed her post-separation life, Fox was candid with her social media fans about her mental health struggles, particularly OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) and ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder).
The Blast noted that he admitted that they were “really hard” to manage and that with ADHD, he would sometimes have “great productivity battles” but would feel unproductive at other times.
As for the 32-year-old’s OCD condition, he recently discovered he had it and had been living with it for a while without realizing it was an issue he previously had with smoking weed.
