Emily Ratajkowski Recreates Childhood Photo With Son Sylvester

Emily Ratajkowski is recreating some childhood memories with her son, Sylvester ‘Sly’ Apollo Bear!

The model-turned-actress and author has always made it clear that giving her child the best experience she could ask for comes first. He reminded fans of that commitment when he took the one-year-old to the city where he spent most of his time as a child, Sant Juan. The author made sure he showed the view from the location with his almost 30 million followers.

In the first slide of photos posted on Instagram, Ratajkowski looks stunning in baggy army green pants and a black top as she poses next to a bright green door. She just stared at the cute man in her arms.

Although she reappears in the next image, the model sits on the shoulders of her father, John David, as a baby. A third photo shows an excited fan holding a Spanish copy of her book, “My Body,” and a fourth features the model and her outdoors.

Several more photos of Ratajkowski as a child, including one where he may be in his mother’s arms, are included. There is also a video of the “iCarly” cast walking the streets of Sant Juan. The 31-year-old wrote in the caption:

“As I was walking Sly, this beautiful man (third slide!) stopped in his car and came up to me holding Mi Cuerpo (my book in Spanish!) He told me that he [SIC] and his daughter has read it. Talk about full circle, the universe coming together, a magical moment.’

He expressed his gratitude for “this life!” before switching to Spanish to talk about getting that “magical feeling” every time he comes to “Majorca.” Returning to English, Ratajkowski claimed he “learned to walk here, and today my son is in the same place!”

The post was received with love and warmth from fans, who retweeted it over 400k times. There were also plenty of comments from supporters, with one saying how “wonderful” the experience was for Ratajkowski and Sly.

The “Blurred Lines” video vixen added a side-by-side photo grid of her posing with Sly and her younger self on her dad’s shoulder to her Instagram Stories. Both posts came after The Blast highlighted that the brunette beauty shared three photos showing herself and her sweet son in a bathtub filled with water, completely nude.

While the first snap showed the supermodel using one hand to cover her chest as she started on Sly’s stand, the next shot showed the mother-don couple holding hands and enjoying the moment.

In the final snap, Sly bends over Ratajkowski’s head as she sinks into the bathtub, covering her chest from the viewer’s view. The doting mother didn’t mince words in letting her fans know her son’s role in her life as she captioned the post “loml”.

The magazine-worthy post naturally caught the attention of thousands of fans, including verified social media users, who wasted no time liking and calling her “cute.”

Back in November 2021, The Guardian gave a detailed review of “My Body”, claiming that “Ratajkowski’s self-aware study of the exploitation of the female body” fails to look deeper into “her intricate image-making.”

According to the news website, the 2014 and 2015 Sports Illustrated swimsuit model books tend to be more of a “non-linear memoir” than a collection of essays.

This is mainly based on Ratajkowski organizing his “reflections” into separate sections, making them “messed up into a more general autobiographical mess” — especially since most of the essays date back to his teenage years.

Not only does he recall his “almost obsession” with singer Britney Spears and his childhood home in San Diego, but he also recounts the “relentless objectification” he experienced at the hands of various employees and romantic interests.

After wondering why the Milan Fashion Week runway model chose to dedicate most of her book “to a relatively common decline,” the reviewer claimed that the model’s artistry and patience were enviable qualities.
