The star got engaged to Brandon Frankel two years ago but has been living in marital bliss for nearly two years without the public’s knowledge. The private actress recently decided to show how the event went down at her unconventional ceremony that took place.

The 39-year-old posted on his Instagram page three photos showing the couple in the first one looking happy. They held up their ring fingers to show off their shiny wedding bonds with the “Antebellum” actress rocking a white shirt and a pearl clip in her full curls while her beau peeked behind her in a black shirt.
The next slide features their cat on a round dining table, which has a beautiful floral arrangement on it as well as some bowls on a shelf in the background. The brief update ended with the casually dressed lovebirds in the final slide as they took selfies with masks on their faces.
“This is our official wedding photo! Kitchen counter wedding featuring our rings by @happyjewellers,” she began the caption, adding that a lovely reception followed the ceremony.
The “American Horror Story” star noted that the celebration also included their cat, Aaron, smelling flowers sent to them and ended with a “very romantic sunset dinner” wearing masks due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
She later wrote, “We really want to get married one day, but I can’t wait to marry this amazing man.” Due to their chosen lifestyle away from the public eye, not much is known about the man behind her happiness.
Interestingly, the two reportedly met online through a dating app and got engaged in November 2020. Sidibe first revealed on the latest episode of “Live with Kelly and Ryan” that they had tied the knot a year ago. When asked by Ryan Seacrest if she’s planning a big wedding, she paused and said:
“The thing about marriages is that I don’t like them. I don’t like them. I really, this is an example of how much I don’t like marriage I’m actually married, we got married over a year ago.”
As the audience cheered, Seacrest was shocked by the revelation and buried his head in his hands in disbelief while Kelly Rippa asked excitedly, “wait is this breaking news?” Sidibe looked quickly at her husband who was in the audience and said, “Yes yes, married, we got married at the kitchen table.”
It will interest fans to know that the man in question has worked in the entertainment industry for over ten years and has jobs in marketing, branding and consulting. He has also worked at leading agencies such as Paradigm Talent Agency, Cameo, Atlantic Records and CAA Music.
The entrepreneur, who currently holds the role of chief business officer at virtual concert production company “NoCap Shows,” was also married before meeting the “Apocalypse” guest star. He is an animal lover, as the couple owns two cats, Aaron and Derrell Jermaine Dupree, who were involved in his proposal to Sidibe.

When shown a photo of the “Rumors” singer, she thought for a moment before replying, “Precious?” causing host and co-star Crystal Kung Minkoff to laugh.
