Jeffrey Epstein says he will pay a reward to fellow accuser Virginia Giuffre if they help refute his claims that Stephen Hawking took part “in an underage orgy” in the Virgin Islands, newly declassified court documents show.
“You can issue a reward to any family of Virginia’s friend’s contacts [sic] who came forward and helped prove his allegations were false,” the late pedophile wrote in a mistyped email to his wife, Ghislaine Maxwell, on January 12, 2015.
“The strongest is the clinton dinner, and the new version in the virgin states that attracts the hawkers. [sic] in an underage orgy,” the email concluded.
The dead 66-year-old financier appeared to be trying to help Maxwell, 62, fight Giuffre’s accusations that Maxwell had defamed him by saying he lied when he claimed he was Epstein’s “sex slave” and about lewd allegations about celebrities.
Nearly 1,000 pages of filings were released without redaction or revealed for the first time Wednesday evening in Giuffre’s since-settled 2015 defamation case against Maxwell — in a document dump that revealed a handful of people previously listed in the documents as “Jane Does” and “John Does.”

Epstein’s emails appear to be part of Maxwell’s effort to attack Giuffre’s credibility by proving key aspects of his alleged account to be lies — including what Epstein says is one of the “strongest” pieces of evidence to undermine Giuffre’s credibility, a story that appears to be out of place sense that the late British physicist and quadriplegic can participate in group sex.
Hawking, who died in 2018 after suffering from the degenerative disease ALS for more than 50 years, had ties to Epstein – who cultivated relationships with elite scientists to pursue fringe theories.
Hawking attended a conference for world-renowned scientists funded and hosted by Epstein in March 2006 — five months before the financier was accused of soliciting prostitution in Florida, the Daily Mail reported.

During the “The Energy of Empty Space That Isn’t Zero” conference, a group of 21 scientists were treated to five-star, $1,500-a-night digs at the Ritz-Carlton hotel on the island of St. Thomas in the Caribbean, near Epstein’s private Island.
A picture of Hawking emerged in 2015 showing him having a barbecue before boarding a refitted submarine so the disabled professor could enter the water for the first time. It is not clear on which island Hawking is depicted.
Giuffre, aka Virginia Roberts, has claimed that Bill Clinton – who was photographed with Epstein and flew on his private jet on several occasions – has visited Epstein’s island, Little St. James, and that he walked into the night with two beautiful women on his arm.

Clinton has denied visiting the island – famously nicknamed “Pedophile Island” by locals – and has denied any wrongdoing.
Maxwell also insisted that Clinton had never been on the island, another fact he allegedly tried to use to debunk Giuffre’s claims.
Giuffre did not accuse Clinton of any wrongdoing and the documents did not implicate Clinton.
Epstein allegedly told one of his victims that Bill Clinton liked his girl “young,” according to newly released depositions.
The document pile revealed that one of Epstein’s victims, Johanna Sjoberg, testified in a deposition that Epstein told Clinton “likes them young, referring to girls.”
The identities of more than 170 Epstein associates, former employees and victims began to be revealed Wednesday, including disgraced Prince Andrew, former Presidents Clinton and Donald Trump, the late “King of Pop” Michael Jackson, magician David Copperfield and others.
Epstein hanged himself in a Lower Manhattan jail cell in 2019 while he was awaiting trial on sex-trafficking charges.
Maxwell was convicted in 2021 of recruiting and grooming underage girls for Epstein to abuse between 1994 and 2004. He is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence.
