A glamorous horsewoman famous for her involvement in the failed multimillion-dollar San Diego horse show has admitted putting a $2 million hit on her husband, being sentenced to less than four years in prison.
Tatyana Remley, 43, pleaded guilty in Vista Superior Court on Thursday to a charge of murder in connection with her attempt to hire a mutual friend to kill her husband, Mark Remley, NBC San Diego reported.
He also pleaded guilty to possessing a loaded and concealed firearm that was not registered to him.
A second weapons-related charge was dismissed as part of a plea deal.
Tatyana Remley was sentenced to three years and eight months in prison.
She was arrested in a sting operation at a Solana Beach Starbucks in August – about a month after her husband discovered she had offered a mutual friend $2 million to kill him.

Mark went to the authorities after he learned of the plot from the same friend his estranged wife had bribed. He told investigators he also set his house on fire days before trying to arrange a hit.
The incident comes after the couple’s tumultuous 12-year marriage, during which they hosted a multimillion-dollar, 45-show equestrian acrobatics show at San Diego’s Del Mar Fairgrounds called Valitar.
But after just a few shows, the horse extravaganza was cancelled, leaving the performers and crew empty-handed.

The couple went on to file for divorce amid accusations of violence against each other, but rekindled their rocky marriage several times over the years.
In May, Tatyana Remley accused her husband of putting a gun to his head in one incident, chasing her with a knife in another, and firing a gun in their home during an argument in a third.
She also claims she was sexually assaulted at gunpoint by a friend while Mark was present.

The high-flying couple owns numerous homes, sports cars, boats and exotic pets, according to a divorce filing.

“He cannot maintain his realistic monthly expenses of only $12,000, approximately [than] what he used to do at $50,000,” the petition said.
According to a powerful confession by his own mother, Remley had a terrible upbringing amid sexual abuse by family members.

Remley’s first husband, Ken Woolcott – former part owner of the NBA team Seattle SuperSonics – blamed that upbringing for his ex’s ongoing problems.
“Essentially, Tatyana was held captive for about 10 years (9 – 20 years) with little, if any, contact with the outside world, education, social interaction or structure,” he told The Post.
