Eric André recently shared some interesting insights about weight and happiness. After dropping 40 pounds in just six months for the sixth season of “The Eric André Show,” André humorously advised the crowd to “stay fat.”

In an interview with GQ, the 40-year-old comedian playfully commented, “There’s a reason skinny people are bitches and fat people are hot.” He added that “fat people,” like sumo wrestlers and Santa Claus, “are happy.” André also jokingly said, “Skinny people have the attitude of crazy kings because they’re starving.”

While the “Bad Trip” star acknowledges the personal satisfaction of wearing her old jeans and shorts, she admits that the mental and emotional toll isn’t worth the sacrifice.

The comedian jokingly recalled the moment when his assistant asked him how he was feeling, to which he replied, “F**king hungry! I remember I was annoyed,” he said. “I said stay fat. If you are fat or chubby, stay that way. I feel great … but it’s not worth cutting the fries,” he advises.

He revealed that his diet mainly revolves around large amounts of meat, including chicken, fish, and turkey. Instead of depriving himself of certain foods, André described his eating habits during the process as “moderate, not deficient.”

To help him track his progress and maintain discipline, André relies on a calorie-counting app called Noom, which helps him keep a close eye on his daily calorie intake, ensuring that he’s on track with his weight loss goals. Surprisingly, André mentioned that the most challenging aspect of his weight loss journey was getting enough sleep.

After his pizza feast, André added that he embarked on a trip to Portugal, where he drank “his weight in wine.” However, upon returning from her vacation, reality hit her when she stepped on the scale. “I canceled six months of work in about three weeks,” he revealed.
