A convicted killer on the run after being released from a Pennsylvania prison may have changed his appearance, obtained a vehicle and moved to a new location, police said Sunday as the manhunt for the fugitive entered its 11th day.
Just before 4:30 a.m. Sunday, police shared a new image of Danelo Cavalcante, 34, who escaped from a life sentence in the Chester County Jail on Aug. 31, CBS News reported.
The images, captured on a Ring camera in East Pikeland Township, Pennslyvania, show a man believed to be Cavalcante in good shape, favoring the bushy beard and mustache he wears behind bars.
A new image of a man believed to be on the run shows him wearing a black baseball-style cap, a yellow or green hooded sweatshirt, green prison pants and white shoes.

Police on Sunday said they now believe Cavalcante owned the vehicle. While they are not sure of the make of the vehicle, they said it may be white.
Additional officers have also been deployed near where he was last believed to have been spotted in Upper Providence Township, which is about 30 miles north of the Chester County Jail, which he busted on Aug. 31.

There have been nearly a dozen confirmed sightings – including two on Friday – since Cavalcante escaped late last month.
State police described Cavalcante as extremely dangerous.

Cavalcante was recently sentenced to life in prison without parole for the fatal stabbing of 33-year-old Deborah Brandao, his ex-girlfriend, while her 7-year-old daughter and 3-year-old son were present in 2021.
He was awaiting transfer to a state facility when he escaped from the prison by scaling walls, scaling razor wire and jumping from roofs to less secure areas to avoid guards.
A tower guard who “didn’t see” or report the killer’s escape was fired Thursday. The guard, an 18-year prison veteran, has not yet been identified.
