- Esha Gupta once posted a picture of her Whatsapp conversation with a friend. In the conversation, Esha Gupta and her friend criticized Nigerian footballer Alexander Iwobi for his performance. His friend called the footballer a ‘gorilla’ and said that ‘evolution stopped for him.’ He added that the footballer had not changed from ‘neanderthal to human.’ To which, Esha replied ‘Haha.’ However, it caused a huge uproar on social media, with people slamming it for being racist. He later deleted the post and apologized for his behavior.
