At school, children spend their days working hard and being happy. But at the same time, they need a break from the busy study schedule and curriculum. Rest is very important in a student’s life so that they can laugh without limits and find ways to achieve success easily.
This is why going on a picnic or on a long trip organized by the school is so important. In my school days, I went to many picnics in different classes. But I still remember the most fun picnic of my life. When I was in 8th standard, I visited an adventure park called Nikoo Park in my city. This was the best picnic in my school life.
Picnic is something, which every student who goes to school waits for, I also wait for that day. The day had arrived, when my class teacher announced that there was a picnic organized by the school the following weekend, which meant Saturday. He told us to prepare for this challenging journey.
The destination is Nikoo Park, which is located in my city and is about 8 km from my school. We are really excited about this trip. I made some preparations before going on a picnic.
All my classmates showed up hoping for a picnic, but one of my school friends named Diksha didn’t go to this picnic because of her urgent work. He had to leave the station to attend a family vacation. So, I became sad after hearing this. But no wonder, I have other classmates too, who luckily are my best friends.
Nikoo Park is the most popular adventure park in my city. It is a water park, where people can have fun with friends or extended family. But there are also rides and restaurants available at Nikoo Park, where people can have fun and eat while spending quality time with their loved ones.
Essay About Picnic
The day came when my school picnic would start and I was very happy. Unlike other days, it was the same day. We inform to reach the school before our usual work. This is because teachers don’t want bad things to happen. They want everything to be arranged on time.
There are 3 teachers with us, we are 30 students. Our class is divided into 3 groups of 10 students each. Each group was assigned a leader to supervise the other related group members and the best part was that I was the leader of one of the groups.
We left school at 8 am on the school bus. And we reached the destination around 9 am due to some traffic hurdles. We have our passes with us. Without a pass, no one can enter the water park. The pass costs Rs 100 for each student. The teachers gave us passes so we could enter the water park.
We had prepared our floaties so we could shower and get on the water. We are ready for real fun. This water park is equipped with different water rides such as lazy river, Amazonia, gap, devil hole, free fall and many more. I like the devil’s hole the most.
This is my favorite, this ride is a deep cylindrical water slide with interesting turns. In the park, there is also a large forest, where we can see some animals, which are caught in cages. After showering at the water park and enjoying the water ride for about an hour, we decided to have breakfast.
Since there was a restaurant in the water park, our teacher took us to the restaurant. Our teachers take our choices like what we want to eat. We all told our requests to the teacher and they ordered different kinds of food. We really like the food, because it is very healthy and prepared in clean conditions.
The restaurant is well maintained, clean and modern with good seating options. I really like the atmosphere of the restaurant. It took almost 1 hour to eat food and then it was around 12 am
There was a park in the water park, where we played many games and our group won the title of first winner in one of the games. Since we were divided into several groups, we had to play against each other. A team has 10 members. Our teacher gave us an important lesson, which I still remember.
There are many things I love about my school picnic. The best thing is that I enjoy going to the wave pool. Many interesting activities we did while visiting this challenging water park. We left the park at 5pm. An hour later, we returned to school. Our parents are waiting for us. After that, we reached each other’s house. We had fun at my school picnic.
We are too tired, but too much fun and joy during the picnic at my school. My whole day was well spent with my school friends and teachers. I will remember this day for the rest of my life because I learned a lot at this picnic. I would like to go on a picnic with my school friends again if I get a chance in the future because I like picnics the most.
