Lisa Cloud previously took to Facebook to denounce rumors that her son had killed himself. New evidence that it was an accidental overdose came to light on Tuesday when several law enforcement officials told TMZ that no suicide note was found at the time of her death.
During an initial statement about his passing, the family wrote, “Angus was open about his struggles with mental health and we hope his passing can serve as a reminder to others that they are not alone and do not have to fight this alone in silence.”
At the time of his sudden death, a source close to the actor also told the outlet that he had been having “severe suicidal thoughts” following the death of his father. However, his mother has been quick to shut down speculation that Angus killed himself,” revealing that he had rearranged his room before his sudden death.
Lisa Cloud Relives Her Son’s Last Moments Before His Sudden Death
About two weeks ago, Lisa took to Facebook to provide more information about Angus Cloud’s sudden death following online speculation that he had taken his own life. “Guys, I want you all to know that I appreciate your love for my family during this devastating time. I also want you to know that although my son is deeply saddened by the death of his father from mesothelioma, his last day was a happy one,” she wrote.
“She is rearranging her room and putting things around the house with the intention of staying for a while in a house she likes,” she revealed. “He talked about his intention to help support his younger siblings in college, and also help his mother emotionally and financially. He had no intention of ending his life. When we hugged goodnight, we said how much we loved each other and he said he’d see me in the morning.”
Lisa admits that she doesn’t know “if or what she might put in her body after that. I just know that he put his head on the table where he was working on an art project, fell asleep and didn’t wake up.” He went on to say, “We may have found that he overdosed accidentally and tragically, but it’s very clear that he had no intention of leaving this world.”

“The struggle is real. He gives and receives so much love and support to and from his tribe. Her work in Euphoria was a lightning rod for her generation and opened up conversations about compassion, loyalty, acceptance and love,” he continued. “His head injury 10 years ago miraculously did not result in death as it usually does. He was given 10 bonus years and filled it with creativity and love.”
“Social media posts have suggested his death was intentional. I want you to know that that is not the case. To honor his memory, please make random acts of kindness a part of your daily life. Bless your heart,” she concluded as fans showered RIP messages and condolences for the rising star.
