Faith Evans has finally struck a deal with her estranged ex Stevie J that will bring an end to their divorce proceedings, finally.

It’s surprising that the singer was married to Stevie in the first place so, unfortunately, this divorce feels more appropriate than the marriage. on July 3, the singer reported to the court that he had “signed a written agreement regarding their property and their marriage or shared rights of domestic support, including support.”
He also submitted a copy of the agreement to the court and asked for approval. Online Radar has obtained legal documents that state so far that spousal support and attorney fees two previous topics of contention in the divorce have not yet been disclosed.

The award-winning singer has documented that the reason for her divorce like many others was irreconcilable differences. “There are irreconcilable differences that have led to an irreparable breakdown of the marriage or domestic partnership, and there is no possibility of saving the marriage or domestic partnership through counseling or other means.”
The couple decided to call it quits in 2021 in a shocking move, Stevie being the one to file the paperwork. No prenup was signed before the union leaving the music producer open to what he wants to achieve coming out of the divorce.
Stevie wanted spousal support and of course, Evans was having none of it leading to a divorce that took years to settle. Shortly after he filed the papers he regretted that he made a public announcement that he was going to get his wife back!

The singer wasn’t interested as Stevie poured his heart out, the damage was done. “Faith Rene Jordan, I have hurt you, disrespected you, and shamed you in front of the world. From today I promise to listen to your feelings and be more careful with your heart.”
Unfortunately, when Stevie realized it wasn’t going to work, he backed off and let the divorce happen. In early 2023, Evans accused Love and Hip Hop alum stole his Sprinter van in the middle of the night.
He also had to go to court to force Stevie to return the vehicle, he mentioned that he didn’t have a valid driver’s license and that he wasn’t on his insurance, doubly so. Stevie initially denied any wrongdoing and the couple later told the court the issue had been resolved.

The Grammy-winning singer has taken steps to move on with her life including a new song with Bounce Queen Big Freedia titled “B***h You Want.” Freedia describes the album as “like walking through the streets of New Orleans.”
Prior to that, Evans was on a new track with Eric Bellinger and Slim of 112 for “Gotta Have Faith.” The singer has not released a full album since 2017 King & me. Maybe now, after this messy divorce, she’ll have an album worth talking about.
