Hilton recently broke her silence on her feud with Grammy Award-winning singer Lady Gaga after a fan asked her to reconcile with him.
The interaction took place in the comments section of Katy Perry’s Instagram post, which featured an image of the “Fireworks” singer and Taylor Swift, who also famously had a disagreement they had resolved.
The fan said: “[Perez Hilton] All peace! Come on, put your hand back to [Lady Gaga].”

Hilton replied: “I have. He ignored all attempts to clear the air and that peace. it’s good. I’m good.”
Gaga and Hilton, who became friends in 2008 during her rise in the music industry, had a major fight in 2011 while promoting her album, “Born This Way.” The two threw several jabs at each other in the following years, with Gaga even accusing Hilton of stalking her in 2013.

Lady Gaga addressed her feud with Hilton on “The Howard Stern Show,” where she revealed that he made her cry during an interview on her website.
Gaga said, “What happened was we were doing an interview, I took two days off my schedule when I was on my world tour to do an interview for her. In the middle of the interview, he started asking me really bad questions. He was very negative about Born This Way and we drank a lot.”
He added, “He was supposed to be my friend and I felt betrayed, so I started crying. Then, my friend had to go in and pull the camera out. They won’t turn off the cameras.”
Gaga told Stern that Hilton apologized but explained that she “felt like, ‘But I’m Perez Hilton so I’m allowed to treat you like this.’
“I looked at her and said, ‘Just because you’re who you are, doesn’t mean our friendship doesn’t mean anything when the cameras are on. So, now I see who you really are,’ and I was done after that. I’m really there for him and I’m very supportive,” continued Gaga, per Sun.
He also stated at the time that Hilton was “just mad because I don’t want to hang out anymore because I don’t want to be around fake people.”

After her interview with Stern, Perez took to X (Twitter at the time) to call out the singer, claiming she was “fake”.
He wrote, “[Lady Gaga] So you call me a fake on [Howard Stern Show] this morning. Ha! Thanks for the laugh! Have you looked in the mirror lately??? xoxo.”
“I was the one who distanced myself from you after I realized what a real vampire you are! It has been your MO throughout your career,” he added.
Things took a turn for the worse between the former friends in 2013 when Hilton began looking for an apartment near Gaga’s New York City residence.
Taking to X at the time, Gaga wrote, “STAY AWAY FROM ME + MY FAMILY YOU’RE SICK TRYING TO RENT AN APARTMENT IN MY BUILDING TO HIRE ME. LEAVE ME!! DO I NEED TO BE LOOKED IN THE HEAD FOR PEOPLE TO UNDERSTAND THAT HE AND THE OTHER PEOPLE WHO ARE BOTHERING ME HAVE GONE TOO FAR? I’M HUMAN.”
The “Bad Romance” singer added, “There’s still a text that Perez sent me in a wheelchair with the word KARMA written across it + Madonna pointing a gun at me. The day of my accident.”

Hilton responded to Gaga’s accusations on her website, stating that she was “devastated” and “hurt” that her former friend made “grossly untrue allegations” about her on Twitter.
He added, “Any allegation that I stalked him, based on a house hunting day with my baby boy and mother, is completely false, defamatory and now appears to be putting me and my family in danger. The REAL Lady GaGa is very VERY different than what you pretend to be. And that’s the truth, in my father’s grave!!
For years, the singer did not talk about Hilton. However, the blogger named Gaga in her 2020 memoir “TMI: My Life In Scandal,” claiming that she manipulated him to attack her “rival.”
