Kim Kardashian has given up and chosen sides in the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian war, which began on Saturday, October 7.
Despite fans pleading for the reality television star to show her support for Palestine, she seems to have chosen to take a neutral stance. In two separate posts shared via social media, Kim highlighted the unnecessary bloodshed on both sides and called for peace to prevail.

Five days ago, Kim uploaded six images from her appearance at the Victoria Beckham show during Paris Fashion Week and her followers saw it as an opportunity to make a decision. While some praised her for looking flawless in a floor-length satin gown, others demanded she take a stand on the war.
One asked, “Kim where are you!!!!? Stand with Israel!! We need your voice,” another wondered, “Where are you now to post about a free Palestine? Are the lives of Palestinians not as important as Armenians?”
Instagram users who don’t type the full statement in the comments drop the flag of the country they’re claiming. Amid the barrage of criticism, Kim took to her Instagram Story on Tuesday to make her stand, starting with a screenshot that included these words:
“I am on the side of humanity. No one should suffer at the hands of terrorists – state, and/or organized. Violence begets violence, but love operates in the same way. Why choose the former, when the latter is sustainable? It’s a complicated question, but it can be a simple solution to a complex situation.”

Continuing, the note observes that when humans experience suffering and pain, they often turn to a higher power, known by various names. However, people unwittingly serve the forces of evil whenever they kill innocent people, support unjust treatment of fellow human beings, harbor hatred among themselves, and operate without empathy.
“I choose peace. I am on the side of humanity. We need to improve ourselves immediately. This conflict has gone on for too long, we are too complacent to let evil rule it. This will have a huge ripple effect around the world. I call for reconciliation. I call for love. May God have mercy on all the lives lost, and may God have mercy on all of us,” the statement said.
Keeping with that theme, Kim shared another screenshot, this time reading, “I see so much purple prose and careful writing and hand-wringing and contextualization and people looking at this through their personal philosophical and political lenses. okay Good for everyone. Everything is needed.”
It added that the “killing of innocent people,” “defilement of corpses,” “taking children hostage,” and “celebration of murder – especially the killing of civilians” were “unacceptable.” The shot concludes:
“Pray for the millions of Israelis and Palestinians who are now in danger because of yesterday’s violence and all that has led to it.”
Although heartbreaking, the two Stories seemed to offend a few viewers and they expressed their displeasure in the comments of the previously mentioned post. “Your story sounds like an “all lives matter” post to me … lol do your research,” one critic suggested the mother of four.

A second commenter stated, “Very disappointed. You always talk about humanity and human rights but only if it helps your job and image.
