Olivia Munn seems to have gotten into fans’ bad books. He was heavily criticized for his recent actions.
The mother of one took to Instagram to share an interesting experience she had with her one-year-old son, Malcolm, who she took to an Asian market to familiarize himself with the culture.
Unfortunately, Munn’s gesture was not received kindly and sparked outrage from offended fans.
Olivia Munn Dragged For Taking Her Son To The Asian Market
Munn recently received his first “bad fathering” criticism from an upset fan after showing off that he and his family spent the day at the supermarket to pick up some household items.
Taking to her Instagram page, the former TV host posted a clip featuring herself, her partner, John Mulaney, and their one-year-old son, Malcolm, shopping at an Asian supermarket.
The short clip is set to Meghan Trainor’s song, “Made You Look.” The family three looked like they were having fun as Munn donned a long-sleeved red turtleneck knit sweater with blue flared jeans.
She matched her dress, rocking black ankle boots, and wore her brown hair in a free fall allowing the long hair to flow down the back. Her son, Malcolm, wore a gray starfish sweater paired with light colored pants.
Mulaney looked cool, dressed in a brown puffer jacket paired with blue jeans. However, the highlight of the video is when Munn takes his son to the seafood section of the market and points out different seafood animals from fish to snails.
Vegetarians and other like-minded individuals however took offense to her post and took to her comments section to mock the actress for the reel. One person wrote, “Asian market, where you can find many dead animals and also [sic] see them suffer. What rubbish.”
Another expressed their dismay, writing, “What a trauma…. A way to teach him how we treat wildlife. Rough.” A third person sarcastically said, “Always one of my favorite places in Asian markets is “live seafood as an aquarium.”
A staunch vegetarian pleaded, writing, “@oliviamunn: Please make your child & yourself + family #GoVegan. For his health, for animals & for our environment/earth. Thank you ?”
One rather bitter fan commented, “When you drag your baby & SO out in the middle of a pandemic just to take a thirst trap pic because you love the way your butt looks in jeans…?”
However, there were comments of support and appreciation from her other fans, who praised the actress for being proud of her heritage. One follower sweetly wrote, “@oliviamunn Props for sharing your #Asian culture ? Like ❤️… this helps all the kids who might feel like they don’t fit in. Thank you for being proud of your heritage and showing it”!
“A great way to instill the beautiful and delicious side of the culture. ???,” wrote another. A third person positively said, “I love that you exposed him to your childhood roots & his heritage ❤️.”
Munn Is Not Enthusiastic To See His Son Do Adult Things
The doting mom seems to be having fun navigating her parenting journey and isn’t ready to let go!
According to The Blast, “The Predator” actor was candid about having bittersweet feelings about his child growing up. Munn posted a video on her Instagram account, showing her one-year-old son trying to open the off-white painted door of their cozy home.
The clever little boy who completes his mission wears “Burt’s Bees” baby unisex pajamas in the short clip. His proud father, Mulaney, who also appeared in the video, marveled at his son’s actions and exclaimed, “You opened it.”
While Munn, on the other hand, had a more dramatic reaction and wrote in the caption, “He’s opening the door now??? Oh no… I’m not ready! Aggghh”!
Malcolm Amazes His Parents After Stuttering Out His First Word
The one-year-old seems to have impressive skills and continues to make his famous parents proud.
As previously reported, the “Ride Along 2” actor, who always shares the wonderful memories he has with his son on social media, has taken to his Instagram account to share a cute video with his 2.8 million followers.
In the short clip, Malcolm tries to vocalize his newfound words as he appears to be with his comedian father, Mulaney. Both father and son were dressed in matching outfits, wearing black crew neck sweaters paired with light brown pants.
The little one managed to vocalize the word “car” in the video, and Munn revealed in the caption, writing, “The first word is Daddy/Dada ?, and the second word is chó (Vietnamese for dog), and the third word. is car ?.”
