A day after the “Legally Blonde” star was eliminated from the competition, the “Dancing With The Stars” cast shared a video of Blair’s final performance on their Instagram page.
Before hitting the floor, a pre-recorded segment of the episode themed The Most Memorable Year was shown. In the clip, the 50-year-old tells his dance partner Sasha Farber that his most notable year was when he was diagnosed with MS.
The actress stated that she had been ill for years, struggling every day for a cure while feeling overwhelmed by guilt as the mother of one believed she had let her son down. However, everything changed after his diagnosis.
In addition, the huge support from the public has had a positive impact on the “Hellboy” star’s life, giving him the strength to embark on new adventures such as participating in celebrity dance competitions. Unfortunately, his body could not withstand the rigorous movement.
Prioritizing her health, Blair breaks the sad news of her passing to Farber at their practice. Holding back tears, the Michigan native explained that she could no longer participate in the show. In his words:
“You know I’ve been monitored and in touch with my doctor throughout this process. I had this MRI. The results came back, and it all just adds to the fact that I can’t continue to compete. I’m pushing as hard as I can.”

The MTV Movie Award winner explained that with MS, her body takes more damage than the average person. Injuries sustained from dancing include “intensive bone trauma and inflammation between tears and tears.”
Blair stated that she didn’t want to put her body in harm’s way again, especially when she had a son to take care of. Surprisingly, the doting mother found a silver lining in her situation, which she described as a teaching moment.
“I had to calm down and go back to being a mom and show him I had to pull back something that I love to do, and sometimes you make tough decisions,” the 50-year-old told Farber. However, the entertainer expressed his desire to have a final meeting with his handsome partner.
