Monica Lewinsky has shared her thoughts on the passing of Kenneth Starr at the age of 76.
The late prosecutor is best known as the independent counsel in the investigation that exposed President Bill Clinton’s affair with Lewinsky, which led to his impeachment.
He recently served on the team that defended former President Donald Trump from impeachment in 2020. The former judge died in a Houston hospital of complications from surgery. Lewinsky’s response to the news of her death has captivated fans, and they love her “goodness.”

Anyone who knows the history between Lewinsky and Starr knows that there is no love lost between them. In addition to publicly exposing his affair with Clinton, the late lawyer also looked into the president’s fake real estate transactions through the “Whitewater” criminal investigation.
When Lewinsky spent part of 1995 working as a White House intern, she and Clinton had sex in a hallway near the Oval Office. The meeting started ten that would take place over the next year and six months. Lewinsky went on to tell co-worker Linda Tripp about the affair — a move that turned into trouble when Tripp tape-recorded some of their conversations and later took the tapes to prosecutor Starr.

The 49-year-old was later granted immunity from prosecution, becoming the late attorney’s chief witness against Clinton, who repeatedly denied “having sexual relations” with her. With all the history between them, it didn’t take long for Lewinsky to react to the news of Starr’s death. Fashion designer tweeted:
“I’m sure many can understand, my thoughts about ken starr raise complicated feelings… but more importantly, do I imagine it’s a painful loss for those who loved him.”

The tweet instantly caught the attention of his 1.2 million followers as they gave it over 65k likes. It also receives thousands of retweets and replies per user written“You’re better than me. Impressed by your continued class and strength.” Another fan wanted Lewinsky provide her therapist’s name because “I’m glad she’s gone and doesn’t care about her loved ones (does she have any?), and she’s never done anything to me.”

Third person shared together their aspiration to obtain “the ability to collect a small portion of your grace,” and the fourth recorded that although he was friends with Starr and his wife, he admired Lewinsky’s beauty “inside and out.” After pointing out that the TV personality is a “better person” than most, fans fifth tweeted“It’s not complicated at all to me. He’s a ruthless man, a disgrace to the legal profession, and a typical and very representative right-wing polish.”
Another supporter chime in, “This is a very good statement (I figured you wouldn’t bother volunteering if people weren’t chasing you for a reaction). So many blue check people should take note.” Other people add that Lewinsky’s tweet was a fashionable move because they could understand her posting something “less charitable than this.”

In September 2021, The Blast reported that Lewinsky shared an update on her feelings for Clinton during her media rounds for FX’s American Crime Story series, “Impeachment: Monica Lewinsky.”
The activist previously opened up and essentially confirmed that there was a part of the show where her character showed Clinton the ropes. Lewinsky also claims that this particular incident is based on true events. During one of the media rounds, the 49-year-old woman revealed her nervousness when people see the details of her life. In his words:
“I get nervous when people see the worst moments of my life and a lot of the behavior that I regret. If you think back to your 20s not so long ago, it’s pretty frustrating,”
The former government aide also expressed his feelings about getting an apology from Clinton. He said, “He should want to apologize, in the same way, I want to apologize when I get the chance to the people I hurt and my actions have hurt.” However, Lewinsky observed that the apology would be more beneficial for the former US president as it could be part of his healing process.
