The recent report that the show has been called off comes as a surprise, as it has drawn some impressive ratings. Although the decision allegedly led to a financial dispute behind the scenes, Moore was determined to tell the broadcast network that they had screwed up by pulling the plug. With the cancellation of “SWAT” by CBS, Moore stepped in front of the camera to protest the decision, especially since it was also the “most diverse” program on the network. To that end, the actor, leading the procedural drama since it began in 2017, shared an Instagram video in which he took a few seconds to touch up his new clean-shaven face, which was his way of “starting fresh.”
The “Criminal Minds” alum later revealed in almost disbelief, “I was wearing sunglasses, late at night, because I was kind of sad. I was kind of sad. We got canceled, SWATSWAT got canceled. It didn’t make sense.”

Moore claimed that he and the rest of his cast mates “did everything that was asked” before dropping his truth bomb about being “the only African American male lead on network television.”
After repeating the point, Moore added that he could “get in a lot of trouble with CBS” for “calling them out” because they’ve treated him right for “26 of my 29-year career.” Later in the video, the Daytime Emmy nominee shows appreciation to her colleagues and asks fans to “make some damn noise” that will tell CBS that canceling the series “was a king’s mistake.”
The minutes-long candid update quickly became a point of concern for some viewers, with many confident sharing their disappointment in the network’s decision in the comments.
While some called out entertainment companies like Paramount and Netflix for choosing “SWAT,” others encouraged the NAACP Image Award winner to “keep his chin up,” and a third set scolded CBS
Amid the support, however, there were some remarks from netizens who looked beyond Moore’s sentiments and saw something different. “Race, again.??,” one critic wrote, while another commented, “It’s not all about the money. It’s because of him, and you know it.”
While the “she” in question remains unclear, another claimed, “Jesiree is running around being racist to some of your black fans and bullying them, her and her friends,” noting:
“Besides, he’s also after your money, so this is the consequence when people try to sue someone just because of the money network.”

A fourth Instagram user sarcastically typed, “Don’t you know you’re African American. I have never seen you support an African American woman’s post. Karma is karma.” A fifth netizen declared that while they liked Moore, his views were “disappointing” because he “used the race card not to be canceled.”
CBS Entertainment president Amy Reichenbach has since “sincerely” credited Moore and the team of writers and producers for their “extraordinary work and passion” through Deadline.

The Blast notes that the mother of three uploaded ten images on Instagram that showcased her and her beau enjoying some great moments in their relationship, including sharing a laugh and holding two adorable dogs.
The lovebirds also included a photo of Moore gently holding their daughter, Frankie, before the trio posed next to the actress’ mother’s gravestone. Underneath the heartwarming slideshow, the model wrote:
“Another year of celebrating you, another year of loving you, laughing with you, talking with you, driving you crazy, and now parenting with you…. 2 down, 47 to go I think I’m stuck with you….”
