Jess Hayes has shared some heartbreaking news about her latest pregnancy.
The reality star caught the attention of the public after she announced she had suffered a miscarriage, with a series of somber images reflecting her state of mind. Almost a year after she revealed she was in therapy for the loss of a baby following her 2020 miscarriage, Hayes is having another one. She shared the news with a black-and-white photo of her baby bump leading a slideshow she posted over the weekend.

The mother of one followed up with a collage featuring a sonogram and its interpretation and a positive pregnancy test, adding a page excerpt from the book in the fourth slide. The words read:

The final slide showcases a notification telling Hayes that her baby’s hands will “soon be opening and closing.” While the text’s caption suggests the Gloucester native was 11 weeks along when she got the message, it’s not clear if the pregnancy was any older when she lost it. Beginning her caption with a trigger warning, the TV personality wrote:
“I’m debating posting it feels so weird to open up and feel vulnerable but you know I’m always open and honest with you all and it’s hard to pretend I’m ok because it’s been a tough week. But I hope someone experiencing the same thing can help. I used to be pregnant and now I’m not anymore.”
The 29-year-old explained that the pain goes beyond “pregnancy loss” to include “the plans you make, your vision of how the baby or child will be, what your family will look like.”
He later admitted that he had made a “big mistake” by going out and busying himself on that fateful day, adding that he planned to tell his loved ones about the good news this coming Easter weekend “in a special way.”
“Who knows what will come in the future.. Although I’m a bit scared and not sure I want to go through another loss. It’s hard to say. But I hope, I must be,” he continued.
After expressing her hopes of carrying her baby to full term in the future, she credited her son Presley for being “more of a blessing every day.”
