Tyra Banks has confirmed that she is leaving her hosting gig on “Dancing With the Stars” after three seasons.
Although no replacement has been announced for now, fans have not hesitated to voice their opinions on who they want to see as the new host.

Alfonso Ribeiro joined Tyra Banks in co-hosting the reality competition show last season, and although Banks has announced her departure, it looks like Ribeiro will be staying.
One Twitter account asked their fans if Alfonso Ribeiro should take over as host of the show, to which one user said yes, but also wanted “Bachelor” star Gabby Windey to join. “I hope Gabby Windey joins Alfonso Ribeiro,” they said tweeted.
Windey just finished co-hosting the live tour of “Dancing With the Stars” and is very popular with reality television fans, so this is a possibility.
Many others took to Windey’s Instagram posts to pitch the idea, hoping the reality star would catch on and co-host the next show. “Please tell us you’re taking over for Tyra, as the host of DWTS??? ?❤️,” one fan wrote while another chimed in, “you’re going to be a fun host next season!! ?.”
“I want to see you on the edge of the glitter again as the HOST of @dancingwiththestars ???,” said a third.

Others would love to see the show’s original host, Tom Bergeron, make a comeback.
“Can we finally get #Tom_bergeron back on dancing with the stars so there’s a reason to watch it? I haven’t watched #dwts since she left!,” tweeted one fan.
While another said, “Alhamdulillah he was a train wreck, painful to watch and the reason I stopped watching […] should never have gotten rid of Tom Bergeron,” referring to Tyra Banks taking over as “Dancing With the Stars” host.
And one fan tweeted, “About damn time!!! The ONLY acceptable person to take over is Tom Bergeron!! #bringbacktom.”
As one user Tweeted on the “Dancing With the Stars” Twitter account, saying, “if you bring back Tom Bergeron I’ll watch again.”

Tyra Banks has confirmed that she is leaving her hosting gig on “Dancing With the Stars” after three seasons.
“I think it’s time for me to focus on my business and entrepreneurship, and also produce more TV — but behind the scenes,” Banks said. “I think it’s time to graduate from the dance floor to the stock market floor. … from the ballroom to the meeting room!”
When asked to clarify if that meant she was no longer hosting the Disney+ reality competition show, she responded with “Don’t you think it’s about time? Yes, I think it’s about time.”
“I am an entrepreneur at heart. … I think my heart, my soul, is involved in my business, it’s also to produce new TV. … But, I really want to focus on my business, and you can’t do that to host a show,” he continued.
There is currently no word on who will replace Tyra Banks as host of “Dancing With the Stars.”
