Tributes to Aaron Carter have engulfed social media in the days following the 34-year-old’s sudden death on Saturday, November 5.

The singer’s memory is kept alive and well by countless celebrities, including Carter’s older brother, Backstreet Boy Nick Carter, and Hilary Duff, the late singer’s ex-girlfriend during the height of his teenage idolhood.

Duff, who reportedly dated Carter early on, posted an Instagram tribute to her former beau, writing, “You have such a sizzling charm… boy does my teenage self love you so much.”

Duff certainly wasn’t the only one looking back down memory lane over the weekend!

Clips of a young Carter performing and interacting with fans, which originally aired on the educational TV show Zoom in the late 1990s, began circulating on TikTok, sparking a sense of nostalgia among TikTokers amid the shocking news.

The Blast was on hand to share the many celebrity tributes flooding social media after news of Carter’s death broke on Saturday evening.

Yesterday, Backstreet Boy brother Carter took to his Instagram and Twitter accounts to share a set of photos featuring the siblings growing up, along with a heart-wrenching tribute.

Carter, 42, gave an honest and transparent account of her relationship with her late brother in her note, writing, “My heart is broken. Even though my brother and I had a complicated relationship, my love for him never faded. I always held on to hope that he would somehow, one day walk on a healthy path and finally get the help he so desperately needed.”

The Backstreet Boy, who is currently on tour with the group, also acknowledged the painful influence of addiction.

“Sometimes we want to blame someone or something for a loss, but the truth is addiction and mental illness are the real villains here. I will miss my brother more than anyone knows. I love you baby brother,” his tribute concluded his speech.

Carter’s ex-girlfriend Paris Hilton offered her condolences on Twitter, praising his kindness and younger heart.

Carter’s twin sister, Angel, also took to social media to honor her brother.

“To my twin… I love you beyond measure. You will be missed. Funny and sweet Aaron, I have so many memories of you and me, and I promise to cherish them. I know you are calm now. I will take you with me until the day I die and see you again.”

In a lighter social media moment, Carter’s fans took to TikTok and gathered in the comments section for a TikTok featuring Carter’s appearance on “Zoom” from the late nineties, to remember Carter’s precocious talent and charisma on stage.

The original poster, FreshNostalgia, wrote in the TikTok description, “Who else remembers his ‘Zoom’ guest segment? He is the cutest. Very talented.”

The clip features Carter excited about his passion for performing and gives an insight into his musical inspirations. He explains, “my music is mostly for girls because I like to sing for girls” as audio from the adoring crowd plays in the background!

Carter, who was around 12 years old when the “Zoom” episode aired in 1999, also said, “I love this job so much, I’ll always do this for the rest of my life.”

“My first concert! My heart is broken,” wrote one fan.

“I still have a box of all my Aaron stuff,” another wrote, “Posters, magazines, dolls, bears, movies. I have it all.”

The OP of the clip also wrote, “Feels like yesterday. I remember thinking, ‘I don’t know who this kid is, but he’s cute.’

Carter’s cause of death has not been released as of this writing. However, telling audio of the 9-1-1 call appeared on TikTok over the weekend. Our report says the call was reportedly made before Carter’s body was found.
