A father and son were pulled from frigid ocean waters by rescue divers near Pacifica Sunday afternoon, according to authorities.
Multiple agencies converged north of Mori Point, a California scenic site, after they received a call from two relatives “in distress,” around 12:32 p.m., the Northern District Fire Authority said, according to the Mercury News.
Swimmers brought the pair back to land on the west side of Sharp Park Golf Course where medics treated them before they were reportedly taken to San Francisco General Hospital.

The father and son are expected to be fine, officials said.
There were no other injuries involved in the rescue effort.
Fire officials point out that ocean currents and low temperatures in the water can quickly cause swimmers to become fatigued in the ocean, NBC Bay Area reported.
