Alonso met Schlager, a sports broadcaster with an F1 background, through their F1 contacts. Alonso revealed the divorce on his Instagram account, hinting that it was amicable. The F1 driver has also maintained all his Instagram posts with Andrea. Alonso was due to meet another Spanish specialist, Melissa Jiminez, two months after parting ways with Schlager. Although they did not declare their relationship, the media believed them.
