A flash mob of teenagers can be seen on camera ransacking a Nike store in Los Angeles and making off with about $12,000 worth of merchandise, according to authorities.
Seventeen masked youths rolled up in five different cars and descended on the chain store on South Alameda Street on Sunday afternoon around 6 p.m. and quickly stuffed clothes and shoe boxes into trash bags, the LAPD said.
Shocked customers watched as thieves quickly filled their trash bags full of merchandise from the athletic retail store, according to footage posted online.

A young man, wearing a hoodie with a bonsai tree logo, even made sure to grab the entire row of sweats and hoodies with his right arm while holding a box bag with his left hand as he hurried out, the video shows.

Police said four women and 13 men aged between 15 and 20 were involved in the robbery.
The cars they jumped in and out of included a tan four-door Infiniti, a gray Kia SUV, a four-door Kia, a white Honda and a black Audi, police said.
