A Southwest Airlines flight attendant has gone viral because of a video showing her preventing a passenger from boarding a plane after she was seen doing a drunken cartwheel at the airport.
The video – recorded by a car passenger and his partner – shows the flight attendant standing guard at the door as the pair argue with her in front of other airline employees.
“You can go. You can’t get on this plane … that’s because you’re endangering the safety of this plane right now,” the crew member said, adding that he saw the woman doing car tires in the terminal.
“You mean the cartwheel I did with the kid I met on the flight?” the woman asked.
“When I saw you drink your alcohol,” the attendant replied.
“I work with children. I’ve done cartwheels and backflips,” the woman told the cabin crew, who refused to give in to her slightly swiped pleas.
The woman also claimed she was sober and demanded a field sobriety test.
“You need to get out of here. You can’t get any closer to me,” she said. “If you get any closer to me, we’re going to be in trouble,” the flight attendant threatened.

“You turn all over the ground, you’re loud, you want attention,” he continued, adding that the woman smelled of alcohol. “The whole crew saw it and we all agreed you shouldn’t come here.”
“I had a glass of wine,” the woman admitted.
“Anyone who shows signs of intoxication is not allowed to board the plane,” the worker said sternly, adding that the woman was incapable of following instructions.
“I have children at home that I am waiting to return,” the passenger argued.

“Well, that’s unfortunate,” the flight attendant deadpanned.
When the female partner asked what made him an expert on the signs of intoxication, the crew said he didn’t need to be an “expert”.
“I have guidelines that we follow in our manual,” he said before also warning the couple about his video recording.
“The footage is against FAR,” he said, prompting the man to ask him to “define FAR.”
“Federal Aviation Regulations,” he answered without hesitation about the regulations set by the Federal Aviation Administration.

“They say you have to get my permission to film me,” he said.
“I want law enforcement to deal with both of them and I want that put down – immediately,” he told airline workers standing nearby.
“I’m not drunk!” said the woman.
“Your inability to leave shows that you are,” the flight attendant replied with a smile, nodding her head, as the video ended.
It is unclear what action was taken against the couple, if any, after the dispute.
Southwest told The Post in an email that “Federal Aviation Regulations prohibit airlines from transporting any Customer who appears intoxicated.”
The old video was originally posted on Reddit, but has now gone viral after being shared by one person Crazy Reality Leaks.
It has now garnered more than 13 million views on X, where users are voicing support for Southwest workers.
“They were very drunk so I don’t blame them. Liability,” one user wrote.
“Good for flight attendants. He handles himself well,” said another.
“Handled like a pro! He was civil and firm at all times. Passenger safety is paramount,” added the third.
One user mocked the woman.
“Slurring his words: ‘do I look drunk to you now?’ Lmaoooooooo,” he wrote.
