Flock of birds takes over Texas parking lot in scene ‘straight out of an Alfred Hitchcock movie’

Hundreds of birds descended on a Texas parking lot, creating a scene reminiscent of a horror movie.

Yvone Gomez recorded the video in Cypress, a suburb of Houston, on Tuesday and shared it on TikTok.

He described the scene as “straight out of an Alfred Hitchcock movie.”

“These birds don’t get scared when I honk,” Gomez said.

The accidental bird watcher also mentioned that the flock did not move when people walked by, even when children shouted at them.

The blackbird, known as the great-tailed grackle, can be found in any human-inhabited area with some trees, according to Houston Audubon.
