Florida lawyer left 2 youngsters alone on beach — where a 3-year-old was found in the surf: report

A Florida attorney is facing child neglect charges for allegedly leaving two young girls alone on a beach — with a 3-year-old wandering into the surf alone.

Patricia Anne Bronson, 41, is accused of leaving the child and her 7-year-old sister alone at Upham Beach Park in St. Pete Beach for up to 45 minutes on Saturday, according to a report in the Tampa Bay Times.

When members of the public alerted police about the unattended youngsters, the older girl told them her younger sister was in the water – where deputies found her waist-deep.

Bronson, a Tampa attorney, allegedly admitted that he was taking care of the girls and had dropped them off at the beach, then left to park his car, the outlet reported.

Bronson was listed as the child’s “guardian” in police records. It is not clear whether he is related to the couple or watching them for relatives or acquaintances.

She was charged with two counts of child neglect without serious injury and booked into the Pinellas County Jail – where she was charged with additional contraband.

Police said prison guards found him carrying a small vape pen into the locker, the Times reported.

He was later released on $15,000 bail pending a subsequent court appearance.

Bronson declined to comment when contacted by the Tampa Bay Times.
