Florida woman beat up mom, stole her car – and then hit her with it: cops

A Florida woman allegedly beat her own mother after an argument — and then stole her car and hit her with it, according to police.

Amber Scheuren-Rusnak, 25, is pictured smiling widely in a photo released by the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office after she was charged with aggravated battery and carjacking Thursday.

A witness called 911 around noon that day to report the disturbance, which happened on Temple Street in Cocoa, Fla., according to Fox 35 Orlando.

Officers arrived to find Scheuren-Rusnak’s injured mother and treated her.

Authorities later took him to the hospital in critical but stable condition.

Meanwhile, police hunted for Scheuren-Rusnak, who fled in her mother’s car.

They later found the abandoned vehicle – and a deputy and his K-9 tracked down Scheuren-Rusnak, who was allegedly trying to hide nearby.
