Kate’s confirmation of her cancer diagnosis is the latest in a string of health issues announced by the royal family over the past few months.
In February, Buckingham Palace revealed that Charles himself had been diagnosed with an undisclosed form of cancer, discovered by doctors while the King was receiving treatment for an enlarged prostate.
Kate herself was initially admitted in January for stomach surgery, and doctors reportedly discovered the cancer after a successful operation. He is now on the “road to recovery” after starting chemotherapy treatment in late February.
