Mayweather And Kim Kardashian Sued By Investors Over Alleged Crypto Fraud

Although Mayweather has appeared in the news for several controversial issues, mostly regarding his boxing profession or his never-ending beef with competitive opponents, it never grew beyond that.

However, according to The Blast, boxing icon and businesswoman Kim Kardashian found themselves mixed up in an alleged crypto scam. The celebrity was accused of deliberately overhyping the EthereumMax cryptocurrency to their millions of followers in order to make a profit.

Following these allegations, a class action lawsuit was filed in the US District Court for the Central District of California, naming EthereumMax for making false promises.

The case goes on to accuse the company and all of its celebrity promoters of jointly inflating the token’s price by making “false or misleading statements” in their social media posts.
