Former Miss Universe and Miss Grand International contenders Mariana Varela and Fabiola Valentín announced that they have tied the knot. Miss Argentina, Varela, and Miss Puerto Rico Valentin met each other in 2020 while representing their respective countries in Miss Grand International, which was held two years ago.
They advanced to the top ten Beauty queens in the tournament; however, neither was crowned the winner at the end of the event. Sparks flew after the meeting, and by the end of the competition, the two reportedly fell in love with each other.

The former Miss Argentina and Miss Puerto Rico have just tied the knot in a secret wedding. The two met in 2020 while competing in that year’s Miss Grand International pageant. Although no winner emerged, they seemed to have found a real gift in each other.
Valera and Valentin’s relationship has been going strong since they met two years ago. After doing mostly in secret, the two announced that they had tied the knot in a private ceremony on October 28. They posted a joint statement on their respective Instagram pages along with a video clip.
Sunday’s post read, “Having decided to keep our relationship private, we opened our doors to them on a special day, 10/28/22.”
Valera And Valentin Keep Their Relationship Secret
The 30-second clip posted by the two beauties on Instagram shows moments in their previously kept secret romance. The first clip in the video shows them wearing bikinis together and sharing a kiss on the cheek.
The rest shows the couple on several trips around the world together and in many cozy positions while on vacation. Their proposal was also shown with red balloons and rose petals displayed around their apartment. There are balloons that say “marry me” among the ensemble.
The final clip shows the beauty queen kissing outside the Marriage Bureau. Valera and Valentin posed together in front of the court while both wearing white blazers. Fans were finally given a front row seat to their romance after two years in the dark. They previously posted pictures of each other in a snuggle position; however, they maintain that they are just friends.

Beauty queens are known for their stunning looks and huge followers on their respective social media sites. Valentín was part of Puerto Rico’s top three in the 2019 beauty pageant and competed in Miss Universe 2019.
Varroa, for her part, was crowned Miss Universe Argentina during the pageant held in 2019. She later earned the title of Miss Grand Argentina a year later. Varroa represented Argentina in the Miss Universe pageant, held in 2020, where he had the opportunity to meet Valentin, his wife.
Both beauty queens were part of the top ten of the Miss Grand International pageant during the pageant. They seem to grow closer during the competition and fall for each other at the final show.
Miss Grand International Celebrates Secret Wedding Couple

Several fans and friends of the beauty queen celebrated Varela and Valentin on their new union and took to Instagram to show it. Miss Grand International’s official Instagram page was not far behind as they posted their own congratulations.
On Sunday, the page shared a slideshow of photos of the couple. The caption read, “Congratulations to you both. MGIO always [supports] ‘LOVE’ has no boundaries.” Other beauty queens like Abena Appiah, the winner of the Miss Grand International 2020 beauty pageant.
He revealed that the newlyweds had met each other during the decisive competition. Valentin responded to the congratulations on his Instagram story and thanked everyone who wished him well. “It would be nice to read every message. Thank you all for your kind words and well wishes,” he wrote.
