In an Instagram video set to Katy Perry’s hit song, “Firework,” Nikole shared several different photos posing in a star-studded bikini by the pool while celebrating her identity. “Learning I am qu€€r is one of the greatest gifts I have received,” she wrote in the caption. “It’s like seeing color after a lifetime of black and white. It’s a flood of love after a life shrouded in rules. It’s a homecoming after being away from my people for too long.”
“I’ve known my true nature for 7 years now and it still feels new because I can’t get over the wonder of our people and the space we create. We are magic, and we are the queens of MORE,” she wrote. “More love, more color, more dance, more freedom, more self-expression, more connection with your desires, more friends, more things we want. In another Instagram post featuring her twirling around in a summer dress, Nikole opened up about the changes that have taken place in her life over the past few months. “How can I express what has happened in my life for the past 3 months?” he asked himself. “I have gone through one of the biggest changes in my life so far and it has led to the most unexpected results that I am still completely blown away by and have cried many tears of joy.”
“The situation that I thought would never change has changed. A door I thought was closed forever has opened. The walls built over the years have crumbled,” he wrote. “And the love and forgiveness that flows from me is enough to carry me through the rest of my life (at least that’s what it feels like!).”
“I see things differently. I feel very different. And my perception and experience of life has become very different as a result,” he continued. “A deeper, wiser part of me was born and it completely changed the way I showed up in my relationships, which changed the way people showed up in their relationships with me. Where I used to hold back pain to protect me, I was able to release it, see it from a place of love, and be freed from it.”
“I have never felt freer, softer and happier. My boundaries keep me safe. Now my weakness occurs. And what has been born as a result is the softest and gentlest iteration of myself,” he added. “I love that after all the pain and rejection and misunderstandings I’ve faced, it’s only made me softer, gentler, and more forgiving.
