“It’s been 4 years since we moved to California,” she began her lengthy caption. “I remember the California realtor who helped us get the house I found online… And the doubts he had about whether we had what it took to buy a new life in California. His doubts fueled my fire. I was sure, sure, solid… even though he tried to break into my certainty. Even though we only had enough money to last us about a year in California, I knew we’d find a way. I didn’t know how… or when… I just *knew*.”
“Now here we are, starting our fifth(!) year in California, in a nicer house than the one we started in, and as my kids throw water balloons at each other in our driveway, I enjoy the view… … gratitude in the life we live,” he continued. “It’s not easy… there’s Covid, divorce, the hiring and firing of several people, family issues, health issues, tax issues, but… I refuse to stop. I firmly believe that life is to be good and it is meant to be better.”
