Francia Raisa talks about her appreciation for therapy and the growth it has brought to her life.
With one Instagram post, the 35-year-old actress made a strong case for therapy and how it has helped develop her entire life since she started nine years ago. The update Raisa shared featured her home transformation, and she noted that the rehab sessions were a major force in reaching this peak.
Francia Raisa Wants Her Outside to Catch Up with Her Inside Progress
The “Bring It On: All or Nothing” actress took to Instagram to reveal a milestone in her therapy expedition. She openly shares posts showing the before and after of her home.
The light-hearted clip begins with the “Beyond Paradise” actor, wearing a black sweatshirt and sleeves, singing Rihanna’s “Love On The Brain” in a room littered with dirt, boxes and cleaning equipment.
However, the “Gracie Allen Award” winner transformed the entire area into a very cool kitchen with a large island, refrigerator, stools and other essentials. This time, she donned a strapless bra top and a tan skirt with a front slit.
In addition to the interesting uploads, Raisa opens up the opportunity to apply the progress from therapy to “making a home” that she loves. “Calm down!” actor wrote:
“External work is as important as internal work. I’ve been in therapy for the past 9 years and I’m very proud of how far I’ve come on the inside but it doesn’t show in my house or when I look in the mirror.”
The message continued, “I don’t understand the concept of making your home your safe space and sanctuary. To be honest I live in chaos and in leggings. I still love my leggings[,] don’t get me wrong but I enjoy putting myself together every day now and creating a home that I enjoy.”
Although it was a fulfilling experience for her, in the end, she added that she hopes to “never go through a renovation like I am now.” [,] it’s nice to get to know this side of myself ☺️.”

This candid post harks back to when Raisa uploaded a photo of herself journaling 6 years after she started therapy. “The Secret Life of the American Teenager” actress sat on a white couch with her dog, wearing leggings and a yellow hoodie with “SO MANY EMOTIONS” written across the front. In the caption of the post, he wrote:

The Teen Choice Awards nominee, who recently celebrated her 35th birthday, recently spoke about her experience stumbling upon a diagnosis of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS).
For those who don’t know, PCOS is a condition where you have scanty, irregular or very long periods, often resulting in too much of a male hormone called androgen. The “Bulletface” actress posted a clip of herself without makeup, explaining her discovery and how she realized many women share the same experience. He said:
“Well, I froze my eggs two years ago. Was that two years ago? Yes, and during the test is when I found out. And a lot of things make sense.”
He also noted that no one recommended any tips on how to manage symptoms. Instead, he had to rely on advice from his girlfriend to help navigate the situation. In another clip, he goes on to say:
“I don’t necessarily have solutions or answers. Like it’s something that I still have even though it’s been two years, it’s still something that I’m learning.”
However, she mentioned that her diagnosis explained her symptoms, adding that although diet and exercise played a role, she was excited about her friend’s book for more information. Finally, the “Grown-ish” actress expressed her openness to more tips and assured her followers that she will share any useful tips she gets.
