Janice, one of the most iconic characters on “Friends,” shared a beautiful photo of her and Perry to social media just hours after learning of his passing.

“What a loss. The world will miss you Mathew Perry,” Wheeler wrote before adding, “The joy you brought to so many people in your all too short life will live on. I feel so blessed with every creative moment we share. ♥️”

Another “Friends” co-star, Morgan Fairchild, who portrays Chandler Bing’s mother on the sitcom, also spoke out on social media, writing:

“I am saddened by the sudden death of my “son”, Matthew Perry. Losing such a brilliant young actor is a shock. My love & condolences to his friends & family, especially his dad, John Bennett Perry, who worked with me at Flamingo Road & Falcon Crest. #RIPMatthew.”

Paget Brewster, who portrayed Kathy on “Friends,” released a heartfelt statement to her on-screen love interest, Chandler, played by Perry, after learning of her death.

“I’m so sad to hear about Matthew Perry,” she wrote, adding, “He was so good to me on ‘Friends’ and every time I saw him in the decades after.”

The “Friends” actor also asked fans to “please read his book” because “it’s his legacy to help”. Brewster was referring to Perry’s 2022 memoir, “Friends, Lovers, and Big Awful Things”, in which he opened up about his life and his struggles with alcohol and drugs.

The actor later asserted that “[Perry] won’t rest in peace though.. He’s too busy making everyone laugh up there.”
