In March 2023, dating rumors began swirling around former “Bachelor” lead Gabby Windey and “Dancing With the Stars” pro Alan Bersten.
The rumor started after Windey and Bersten were seen having dinner at Avra in Beverly Hills after the live tour of “Dancing With the Stars”, in which both actors participated, ended.
Now, Windey is addressing the dinner date and confirming her current relationship status with Bersten.

The former “Bachelor” lead went on the “Off the Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe” podcast, where she finally discussed her relationship status and if she’s dating Alan Bersten.
“We’re just friends,” Windey told Bristowe on the podcast. “We are completely new [Dancing with the Stars] visit I was in LA apartment hunting and he was like, ‘Do you want to have dinner?’ And I was like, ‘F-ck yeah. F-ck yeah, man!’”
Windey went on to say he sees Bersten as a “little brother,” adding, “I just like watching him, so I’m not mad. I’m like, ‘Oh, you’re funny!'”
The reality television star first met Alan Bersten on “Dancing With the Stars” last season. Gabby Windey’s partner, Val Chmerkovskiy, had to sit out a week during the final season of the competition show after testing positive for COVID-19. Alan Bersten replaced Chmerkovskiy so Windey could still dance and compete.

While competing on “Dancing With the Stars,” Gabby Windey announced her split from fiancé Erich Schwer, who proposed to her on the “Bachelorette” finale, which aired just a few weeks earlier. Soon after the news broke, fans started sending it to Vinny Guadagnino of “Jersey Shore,” who also competed on “Dancing With the Stars” last season. The two had fun with dating rumors and even started flirting on social media, sending the internet into a frenzy.
While things have been quiet between Windey and Guadagnino for the past few weeks, Windey addressed if anything was going on between the two while on Kaitlyn Bristowe’s podcast.
“It was like something and then, now, I don’t know,” Windey told Bristowe in regards to the “Jersey Shore” alum. “We are still talking. We came on a visit for a week and we had a great time together. And he’s just a good friend. He understands, you know?” she said, “Like, she spends her life on reality TV. She’s really smart. She’s really funny. She’s hot.”
A few months ago, while on the red carpet at the People’s Choice Awards, the 31-year-old was asked if dating the “Jersey Shore” star was still on the table. Windey replied, “I think it’s a possibility, I don’t know we’ll all just have to wait and see.”
The “Dancing With the Stars” runner-up kept joking and said “Gabby, tan, laundry,” in reference to the famous “Gym, tan, laundry,” from the “Jersey Shore” catchphrase.
Right now, it looks like Gabby Windey is still single — so “Bachelor” fans are hoping she makes an appearance on “Bachelor In Paradise” this summer, though that hasn’t been confirmed.
