While competing on “Dancing With the Stars,” Gabby Windey announced her split from fiancé Erich Schwer, who proposed to her on the “Bachelorette” finale, which aired just a few weeks earlier.

And last night on the People’s Choice Awards red carpet, the 31-year-old was asked if dating the “Jersey Shore” star was still on the table. Gabby replied, “I think it’s a possibility, I don’t know we’ll just have to wait and see.”
The “Dancing With the Stars” runner-up kept joking and said “Gabby, tan, laundry,” in reference to the famous “Gym, tan, laundry,” from the “Jersey Shore” catchphrase.

Fans first started noticing Vinny Guadagnino checking out Gabby Windey during “Dancing With the Stars.” But later, fans noticed that the two started flirting with each other on social media.
Vinny shared a photo of himself looking out the window, with the caption, “stop looking for the one…be the one, and let them all come to you.”
Gabby, herself, then commented, “Onw,” meaning on my way.
Vinny then responded to Gabby’s comment, “patiently waiting while you kill the finale.”
And last week, Vinny posted a photo on Instagram, writing “If I’m a lot, find a little more,” to which Gabby commented, “A lot of you can never have enough.”
The “Jersey Shore” star also posted a photo for Thanksgiving, writing, “thanks for my haters ??,” to which Gabby commented, “Thanks for you ❤️.”
But it didn’t stop there as Vinny shared an Instagram Reel showing several black jackets with the caption, “You know the vibe.” The “Bachelor” alum commented on this post as well, asking “Where’s my black jacket.” Vinny then replied, “@gabby.windey what’s mine is yours.”

After fans began speculating Gabby and Erich had broken up because the “Bachelor” star was seen without her engagement ring, the 31-year-old confirmed the split during an episode of “Dancing With the Stars,” after her partner, Val Chmerkovskiy , revealed they would be dancing a waltz routine for Des’ree’s song “I Am Kissing You.”
“For me, it holds a special place because I just went through a breakup,” Gabby told Val. “The end of our relationship happened because we weren’t exactly in sync with each other on our shared goals or the way we approached life. We are not the best match for each other.”

Erich also spoke about the separation, through his Instagram Story, “Many of you contacted me with questions about me and Gabby. The reality is that we end up being nobody else – it’s hard when there’s not one thing to use.”
“We met in a very unique situation and in a very unique way and I’m thankful we did. I will not take it back,” continued Erich. “Gabby is an amazing person and she does amazing things. I will always look up to him and I hope he gives them hell in the DWTS finale.”
