‘Game Of Thrones’ Actors Kit Harington And Rose Leslie Are Expecting Another Child

“Game of Thrones” actors Kit Harington and Rose Leslie will soon be parents to baby number 2.

In 2020, Harington and Leslie, who are both known for their work in “Game of Thrones” as Jon Snow and Ygritte, welcomed their first child together. The couple met on the set of the HBO fantasy series and married in 2018.

Harington opened up about his eldest son during an interview with Jimmy Fallon, revealing that he is a bright young man. She previously opened up about how parenthood inspired her film “Baby Ruby.”

Kit Harington And Rose Leslie Expect Second Child

MEGADuring an appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” Harington revealed that he and his wife Leslie are expecting their second child.

After meeting on the set of “Game of Thrones”, Harington, 36, who played Jon Snow, married Leslie, 35, who played Ygritte, in 2018.

The “7 Days in Hell” star told Fallon that their son is “going to get the surprise of his life” and that he will soon be “getting a little brother or sister.” Harington also drew comparisons between his first and second parenting experiences, admitting that he was terrified the first time.

“With a first baby, you’re like walking through the clouds and dancing through a field of daisies for nine months, well, the boys too,” she explains. People magazineadding that “the reality check comes shorter the second time around. You can practice quickly.”

Kit Harington And Rose Leslie Already Have A Son

The couple already share a son. Leslie’s first pregnancy news came to light after she posed in black and white with her baby bump on the cover of Make UK Magazine.

In a gorgeous Instagram photo of the actress, fashion editor Ursula Lake captioned it, “Wonderful working with the beautiful Rose Leslie for the @make_magazineuk cover story out now! A very special all-female team photography shoot capturing Rose in this beautiful moment as she prepares to become a mother for the first time!”

During his recent appearance on “The Tonight Show,” Harington revealed that his son still doesn’t “get it conceptually” when he was asked what his baby boy thinks of his future sibling.

“We tried to prepare her for that, we pointed to Rose’s stomach and we said, ‘Baby mama.’ And he pointed to his belly and said, ‘My baby,'” Harington said.

She Hits Her ‘Smart’ Son

Just before he revealed he’s soon to be a father to his second child, Harington took a moment to praise his two-year-old son, noting that he’s “pretty smart.”

“It’s surprising, considering we’re both actors,” he said, referring to himself and his wife. “We’re like, we’re not sure where it’s coming from … He likes applause.”

The actor continued, “Every time he does something good, we give him a round of applause, and we’re worried that it kind of pushes him to act. We were kind of like, ‘Eh, you’re probably too smart for this. Go save the world, we’re sick, we have no choice.’”

Fatherhood Influences Kit Harington’s ‘Baby Ruby’ Movie

One of the many perks of being a father is the inspiration it gave Harington for his movie “Baby Ruby.”

“I think there’s a real catharsis in this,” he said at the time Many people and EW’s 2022 photo and video studio for the Toronto Film Festival. “My baby boy was about 4 or 5 months old when we were shooting this, so I was just coming out of the process where these two characters find themselves as early parents, so I really explored that in this film. That’s a big reason to want to do it.”
